广东东岛新能源股份有限公司于2011年6月成立，是一家集基础研究、产品开发、生产、销售于一体的国家级高新技术企业。目前已通过ISO14001环境管理体系、ISO9001质量体系、ISO45001职业健康安全管理体系和IATF16949汽车行业质量体系。

公司主产品包括人造石墨、天然石墨、增碳剂等。企业先后被认定为“广东省创新企业”、“广东省高成长中小企业”、“广东省战略性新兴产业骨干企业”、“广东省中小企业创新产业化示范基地”。

下设五家控股子公司——湛江市聚鑫新能源有限公司、贵州东岛新能源材料有限公司、云南东岛新能源有限公司、江西东岛新能源有限公司和东岛（雷州）锂电材料有限公司，其中全资子公司湛江市聚鑫新能源有限公司是国家工信部首批专精特新“小巨人”企业。
